The law firm of Nsour & Associates was established by the Honorable Fahed Abulethem Nsour in 1978. Since 1960, Fahed has served as a judge in various courts. In 2004 he was appointed as a Minister of Legal Affairs until 2005. Now, the firm offers through its office in Jordan and the United Arab Emirates strong legal and consultancy services including commercial transactions, banking, real estate, labor and employment, and cross-border investment and international trade.

For the last 30 years, Nsour & Associates’ clients include: large banks; mobile communication companies in the Middle East; major mineral companies, prominent importers and exporters; and high-profile public figures. Nsour & Associates is involved in the reconstructing of many troubled companies, and have dealt with numerous bankruptcy proceedings. The firm has been heavily involved in arbitral investment dispute resolution by both serving on arbitration panels and representing clients in arbitration proceedings. The firm is often called upon to participate in drafting legislation and advice the government on various regulatory issues.

Led by Professor Nsour, the firm is focusing also on consultancy. Nsour & Associates has been involved in various internationally-funded consultancy projects including the drafting of the National Export Strategy of Jordan; Jordan’s Trade and Transport Facilitation Program; Jordan Branding Initiative. Professor Nsour had been one of the key drafters of Jordan’s Public-Private Partnership Law, the Commercial Transactions Law of the United Arab Emirates and the Health Law of Saudi Arabia.
